Well, I kept this going for a second month.
Here's February's playlist. As a reminder, I add a track a day, whatever takes my fancy. Some may be obscure, some may be hugely popular, could be anything.

28.2.2025 00:00My February 2025 playlistThis month, I started making a playlist with a new tune added every day. I’m calling this project #TrackDay until I think of something better.
There is no theme; tracks chosen might be old or new, obscure or hits, cool or cringe. They just have to be something that caught the ear of this nerdy middle-aged man.
Now January is complete, I’ve used SongShift to make a Spotify version of the playlist too.

31.1.2025 08:54My January 2025 playlistA shortish one today, clearing up some stuff out to the west of the map.
First walk in a long while. Taking advantage of the bank holiday to go through the Rotherhithe tunnel again when things aren’t too busy (it was still pretty grim though…)
Once of the nice things about the different bits of the Overground getting names is that it gives me more lines to cross off.
And on that note, the Mildmay line is now DONE.
Okay, so I haven’t done any more walks, but I have now updated my progress map to include the newly-named Overground lines.
This also means that I can tick off 3 new lines: the Liberty, the Lioness and the Weaver.
Just upgraded my micro.blog account to Premium and playing around with video uploads.
I’m torn about the maximum 75MB file size. I get the thinking and understand that this stops the cost getting out of hand and also discourages people posting long video content, but it was quite a faff scrunching this pretty short video down to size, and it has lost loads of quality. Uploading video using the iOS and Mac apps seems a bit temperamental too.
14.2.2024 10:38Testing video uploads using micro.blog PremiumThis one was a bit of a slog to be honest. Walking through drizzle to finish off the Northern line.
Well, that was a nice way to spend an afternoon.

First tube walk for a while, so thought I better make it a good’un. Bakerloo line: done!
A little bit in Docklands before following the Dangleway south of the river. From there I walked to Woolwich and followed bits of the national rail line included on the TfL map.
Crossing off one of the big ones on the first tube walk for a while. District line done!
Cleaning out a drawer and found this card from Jeremy Deller’s becausewearehere.co.uk
I am so old that (1) I just bought a CD player, and (2) I am using it to play a National Trust compilation of punk classics.
Hoe Street, Walthamstow, earlier 🇵🇰
I found this blue plaque on my lunchtime walk.
Harry Kane completes his hat trick ⚽️ #coys
Today’s TfL map walk was shorter than planned because the weather turned grim 🙁
Just back from another TfL map walk. Went through Romford. Rosindell was keeping a low profile.
Walking through East India via Cyprus.
(DLR is now done ✅)
Well, this is normal. ⚾️ 🇬🇧
Today’s TfL map walk took me to Richmond.
Here we go again. Another walk to the very north of the TfL map, but this time a bit closer to home.
