Austin ISD has started giving non-Christian religious holidays some of the school holidays, but still have Christmas and time off around Easter. I will say that the federated aspect means that each server admin can stem the tide of spam on their servers. I didn't see any today, and I suspect a lot of other people didn't either. Then again, I don't watch the federated feed too closely.
