The International Space Elevator Consortium focuses on the global advocacy of Space Elevators (SEs). We believe that the Earth SE is ready for Engineering Development, facilitated by the rapid ongoing development of the candidate material (single crystal graphene) for the construction of a 100,000 km tether. Our Mission Statement is: "... ISEC promotes the development, construction and operation of a space elevator as a revolutionary and efficient way to space for all humanity ..."
