23.5.2024 08:42Confessions of a (Mostly) Productive SolopreneurLet’s talk about a myth that’s been holding many of us (myself included) back for way too long: the idea that busy equals productive. We’ve all heard it – “She works so hard!” or “He’s putting in the hours!” equated with success. But here’s the truth bomb: constantly being busy isn’t a badge of honor, … Continue reading The Productivity Myth I Busted: Busy ≠ Brilliant

It's a tough world out there! Sorry to hear about your experiences. Something I have learned over time is that each experience is there to teach us and our soul a lesson. It's an easy thing to say that you had to go through it, but as the healing journey progresses, you see it for what it truly means. There is nothing wrong with being solo, it is a much better life than having to go through bad experiences. Learning to love and enjoy your own company is a beautiful thing! If and when the time is right, the right person will come along - either way, you'll flourish!

11.3.2024 09:56Comment on We Will Not Be Silenced! Amplifying Voices Against Violence Towards Women by LizLet’s talk about an ugly truth. Violence towards women isn’t some abstract concept – it’s the harassment, abuse, and attacks women face every single day. We’re talking domestic violence that tears families apart, rape and sexual assaults that steals a woman’s sense of security, and brutal murders that leave communities reeling. Here in Kenya, the … Continue reading We Will Not Be Silenced! Amplifying Voices Against Violence Towards Women

I was in a very short relationship last year, which I ended quickly because he had a controlling side. During that time I knew him, I suspected he could not cook and one day he came out with that. Everyone should be able to cook. My mum taught me. Dad did too. Then there were cookery lessons at school. Then there is do it yourself and teach yourself from a book. How can no one not cook?
