Jagmeet Singh says NDP would cancel F-35 contract and build fighter jets in Canada

The party highlighted a proposal from Swedish company Saab, which promised assembly of its Gripen fighter jet would take place in Canada and there would be a transfer of intellectual property, which would allow the aircraft to be maintained in Canada.

I keep hearing everyone touting what a success it is, but data from https://mastodon.fediverse.observer/dailystats shows a drop in weekly active users from a January peak of 996,683 to 891,934, a loss of 104,749 active users or 11%.

Also the number of active servers has decreased from 9,510 in December to 8,844 today, a drop of 666 servers (!) or 7% in three months.

Mark Carney’s landslide victory as Liberal leader on Sunday has propelled the party to 49.5 per cent – a record high in our 26 years of IVR tracking. Most of these gains have come at the expense of the NDP and the Green Party, whose support has collapsed to 8.0 per cent and 2.0 per cent, respectively, amid the flurry of tariff and annexation threats from south of the border. The Conservatives stand at 31.8 per cent nationally, which puts the Liberals in position for a commanding majority if these numbers hold.
