Leaving Big Tech behind

I'm on a 3 year plan to be free of Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, and Apple. The first 80% of it is easy, my cell phone is the real hurdle...but Linux has been a great replacement of Windows so far. I'm not going to deny that going with the tech flow is the most convenient path, but I don't think that makes it the best path.

If you're seeing this, you are probably one of my Facebook friends who saw I was quitting FB and you were wondering about this site as an alternative. It's great, you can have more control in how your posts look, what posts you see, who gets to see your posts, and best of all...no forking ads.
