Burroughs by Emily HegartyIn reply to Big Mike. I absolutely agree! The Americans with Disabilities Act laid a crucial foundation, but expanding accessibility efforts is vital. A non-partisan initiative for inclusive venue guidelines sounds like a fantastic idea! this could truly make spaces more welcoming. The optional certification adds an extra layer of recognition, empowering people to actively choose and support these inclusive environments. Thank you for leaving a positive reply! :)
22.10.2023 21:47Comment on Exploring the Intersection of Autism, Art, and Accessibility in Theater by Alexandria LasherAccessibility is so important and goes beyond the scope of the now 33 year old Americans with Disabilities Act. It would be beneficial to have a non-partisan group draft non-binding guidelines for venues like theaters to promote inclusivity. Perhaps even having an optional certification body to allow people to identify these inclusive spaces.
