Also known as Whitney M. I’m a philosopher with an interest in ancient Stoicism (ontology, free will, and determinism; very critical of the modern $toic movement). I also work on philosophy of race, class, and gender and more recently, aesthetics. I’m a classicist/philologist (ancient and modern Greek and Latin). I’m a Marxist and activist who has a life-long love of poetry—reading and writing.
