I'll be staying with a friend this week who eats a mostly plant-based diet; I, of course, eat a mostly animal-based diet. So I am just taking my own food, and today I prepared it all so I wouldn't have to worry about it there, and neither would she. (This isn't everything I'm taking, but is the bulk of my meals.) This is my own personal "food pyramid" hahaha! The last photo is today's meal, consisting of Kibun Healthy Noodles, alfredo sauce, bacon, and mozzarella cheese melted on top. Who says we can't eat good food when eating low carb? My 2 plates at a Mongolian Grill today. The first one was prime rib, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions. The second one was shrimp, scallops, cabbage, mushrooms, and green onions. Each was drizzled with sesame garlic dressing. It doesn't get much better than this!

Before and after photos of the last day of my first garden. It got too sad to see all the dead and dying stalks and vines, so I decided to cut them all down. We are expecting a freeze in a couple of days so we also brought in the last of the produce: 8 small heads of cabbage, and I already brought in and dehydrated most of the parsley this week. Anything that still had any color or green left - lettuces and herbs - will stay as long as it still gives me pleasure to look at it. (Some of the herbs will stay also, that should come back to life next year.)
