I made Bob The Skull from the #dresdenfiles for my step dads christmas gift this year. A few mistakes learned from but ultimately I think it turned out pretty cool! 3d printed the skull, base coated in skull white, painted on the details, did a soft tone wash to add some "aging", then a varnish coat. my mistake was using a gel pen to sketch on the designs. I was unaware that the paint would reactivate the gel ink and it made a huge mess... lesson for next time to just use pencil

Went on a trip to #vermont and had some fun taking some pictures. I am a photography noob by all accounts, but I think these turned out alright, lol.

This is different from what I normally post, but I've been toying around with some #photography using an old Sony #digicam and editing in #darktable . It's been a good time, I really like the vibe of these older 2000s CCD cameras.

An absolutely top tier 3d render, obviously the work of a true savant.

It really is the most beautiful thing you've ever seen. On a mysterious lake, there is a tree, with striking blue leaves floating gracefully in the wind. Behind it, an imposing mountain, sitting powerfully. Illuminating it all is a dark purple eclipse, shining brightly from behind.

Truly the most breathtaking piece of art you've seen in years. You don't know how to continue with your life after this point, as it all seems meaningless in comparison...

A little late, but I wanted to make a quick little piece inspired by the eclipse I was lucky enough to see last week!

This is my first time seeing totality during an eclipse, and man it was breathtaking. I have honestly never seen anything that's left me without words like that... I am going to take all the opportunities I can to see it again.

As for the render, this time I experimented with some plugins for the fog and the tree, they were pretty neat, and both gave great results! It's not an overly complicated render, but I am happy with the vibe it's creating.
