The initial idea was to do a benefit-cost analysis of specialty crop agrivoltaics (AV). After initial analysis, we realized that the crop is compensating solar to make AV profitable. This is where the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) came into the picture. More in the post and in the paper.

As I developed ideas for this post, my inner guts did not agree with what I wanted. I found it hard to write this post as I was battling with what I wanted to write vs. what I should write.
