I joined Pixelfed when the app launched, so this is for everybody else like me who has never paid attention to the website-based feed. Do it! All you followed hashtags are over there + less lag for comments and follows. The app just isn’t there yet. I’m sure the dev team is overwhelmed right now with all the new users, and more power to them, but check mobileweb if you’re having app issues.
If I’m wrong / have missed settings in the app that make it more full featured/fix the feed, leave a comment. I’m happy to edit this post.

This buddy came out pretty good, but heavy glaze has obscured some of the lid details. Trimmed another today and tweaked the lid fit on this one, too.

I made a big batch of these soy sauce dishes while practicing throwing ‘off the hump’, which is in fact a technical term. Fond of the exercise and the product, so maybe another batch is in order!
