23.9.2017 05:10Be Careful of Agitprop, Even If It Is 100% TrueThis is in many ways the exact reason i refrain from discussions via the internet. I realize that isn't productive to political discourse and probably even hinders my ability to learn about others ideas but i find the comment sections of videos and facebook posts to be echo chambers of people yelling half formed ideas they got from someone else. Throw out any political topic and what you get are people who have opinions on it first without reading deeper and the only time they will dig deeper than their first gut instinct on an issue is when they need to defend that gut instinct against someone disagreeing with them. So they take their bias and scour the internet with it for anything to reverse logic their original opinion. I also like the idea of you having a channel dedicated to teaching people the building blocks of ideas, mostly because i feel as though i too am ignorant of much of the nuance of political ideas (another reason i refrain from political discussions via the internet.)

Everyone knows about logical fallacies but these are the psychological underpinnings every skeptic needs to be deeply self-trained in spotting.
