A section of the lovely but neglected red brick one-story flat-roofed Bank of Magdalena building in Magdalena, New Mexico. The top and doorways feature cornices and part of the building has been painted white which is now fading. The scene has a desaturated rose feel due to the expanse of red brick and rose-tinted road running in front of it. The deep blue sky is completely clear. The facade of a narrow dark red brick building in Cleveland, North Dakota. Almost square, but the upper right corner cuts down roughly, as if part of it is broken off. Much of the side is taken up by what appears to be an old dock door, but which has been boarded over with wood of a similar tone to the brickwork. A normal-sized white door has been set at the edge of that, a bit right of the center of the wall, and a single tall window with green trim sits to the right of that. Above the dock door space is a wide, fading sign identifying this as "Cloveland Grocery", with Coca-Cola logos as endcaps on both sides. The facade of a faded pinkish boarded-up two-story wooden building in Cleveland, North Dakota. The steeply-pitched roof peaks at the ridge in the center. At ground level a small portico, also with pitched roof, protects double doors. The pale sidewalk and street run in front of the building at an obvious slope.

A pool float rope stretches across a small blue lake in a pinkish arid landscape. This is Lea Lake at Bottomless Lakes State Park in New Mexico. A moody sky over dark green waters of the Gulf of Mexico along the Alabama coast. Storm clouds, veils of rain, and a small but bright rainbow above a calm dark green Lake Huron at Tawas City, Michigan. A tree grows within Columbus limestone slabs on the coast of Lake Erie at Marblehead, Ohio. Sturgeon Point, Michigan. A dark brown bench sits on a beach of sand and pebbles. The land stretches out in a long narrow point into Lake Huron, with waves pushing in from both sides. A slow, shallow section of the Ocoee River in Tennessee. Numerous pale rocks and a number of green bushes rise out of the water, surrounded by rich green trees and hills. Another section of the Ocoee River, this one where the water picks its way through numerous large rock shelves. Dark brown basalt cliffs drop down to the Columbia River near Vantage, Washington. A bit downstream, the Vantage bridge stretches across the river. Further downstream, high hills on the opposite bank tower over the river. An orange pre-dawn sky silhouettes a pier stretching out into Gulf of Mexico waters as rough waves crash into a sandy beach on the Alabama coast.

Trees surrounding the upper portion gleam bright green in the even light. Graveyard Fields Upper Falls in North Carolina. A thin stream of water cascades down a tall rough surface of rock, some of which is dark but lower bits are lighter with an orange tint. Hemlock Falls in Georgia's Cloudland Canyon. A broken stream of water drops over the top of a thick rock ledge. To the right of the waterfall the sun highlights an orangish section of the ledge. The left is in shadow and the rock seems white. A pool at the base of the falls empties into a stream near the viewer's position. Cherokee Falls, also in Georgia's Cloudland Canyon. A larger stream falls over another thick rock ledge into a large pool at the base. The rock face is grey with white sections. Trees in various shades of green surround the top of the falls.
