And yeah I almost didn't recommend it because I didn't *love* it but I thought it was good enough to be on the list still :) it was nice reading alien stuff without wars I guess

This sounds intersting! One of my biggest icks with 1984 was Julia's character. People have defended this as allry flat on purpose but I lowkey hates Julia and she didn't deserve to be written like that. I might check this out!
