An EA-18 jet from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island flies in front of the volcano known as Kulshan, or Mount Baker, in the pinkish fading light of the day. The mountain is large, white with snow and conical. Two associated peaks are to the left, the Black Buttes, at this time mostly white with snow.
